<I think you’ll find that Wigan beat Leeds in the most important games this year. If we didn’t beat you in the reguler rounds we wouldn’t be league leaders. Wigan are the bestest this season for beating Leeds then! <Odemwingie mode off

We have nothing to lose, your the holders of the trophy so have everything to lose.

You have nothing to lose...........how about the SL GF? If we were at full strength and had finished above you in the league having had time to rest for the CC then yes we would be. You have finished top of the league, lost to us and struggled against KR for a time. You have been the bridesmaids for a long while. Nobody expects us to beat you twice in a row given our missing personell. I would say it's definatley all pressure on Wigan, just as it has been the last 2 weeks, and has shown in your teams performances.

| Im sure fans from any team will admit that if you finish top of the league then the pressure is on to finish the job by winning/getting to the GF
If the pressure wasn't there why do Sky constantly make people aware of the fact that Saints are the only team to finish top of the league and not make the GF!

There is only one valid interpretation of a statement proclaiming injuries being [i"part and parcel of the season and other clubs will go through this too HOPEFULLY"[/i just like there's only one interpretation of a statement proclaiming that a Wigan player intentionally caused an injury to McGuire in back play.
Quote: SmokeyTA "And i give the Wigan players more credit than you. Im sure they are nice people and wish no malice towards Mcguire, im sure if they had known the extent of his injury at the time they would have shown a lot more class and empathy. Hence why i expect they feel a little guilty.'"
I give the Wigan players credit for being disgusted at McClennan's crass insinuation that one of them intentionally caused McGuire's injury in back play.
Has McClennan apologised for that fabrication yet?
Quote: SmokeyTA "they have indeed
"Disappointed in Phil Clarkes comments today.....mmmmm" Matt Diskin
"Can't believe the news on Danny McGuire...so gutted for him.such a disappointing end to a great season for him." Luke Burgess'"
But not disappointed in their own coach's comments on wishing injuries to players of other teams hopefully, or accusing a player of another club of intentionally causing an injury.
Hardly 'Gods of Rugby' are they?
More like the opinions of 'Big Daft Lads'

And as they were made up, im making up its Burgess and Diskin and they fly the world in magical ford escort listen to an audio book of Jeeves and Wooster read by Stephen Fry doling out karmic justice to rugby league players

You've got to be kidding, sunshine.
Wigan finished top, wigan were favourites, wigan have fallen at this hurdle 3 years running, wigan haven't won a title in 12 years.

The Communist Cap - dragging down success and aspiration to the levels of those who cba.: |

| Going to be a good one I hope.
Wigan are the better side, but Leeds are proven champions with that ability to raise their game when it counts.
Can't wait.

| I can't believe this 'no all the pressure is on', 'no its not its on you'.
I think if at this stage if you don't feel a modicum of pressure then you aren't human. Its how you deal with the pressure, Leeds in the past have shown they can handle it, while Wigan have yet to do so. Thise season is their best chance in many a year.

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

| This will be a very difficult game - with our two best players against the most consistent side in the competition at full strength.
I would be amazed if we get through, but this team constantly amazes you - fingers crossed

Which part of McClennan's statement - [i"It's just the way it goes and we're not going to use injuries as an excuse for our position in the table. It's part and parcel of the season and other clubs will go through this too hopefully"[/i also says he wishes no injury on anyone?
