| Should McDermott tell JP when to pack in?
IMO that should come from Peacock himself or the Medical team. Only Peacock knows how is body is feeling and he made the decision to retire from international Rugby. Prior to this injury he has been in great form, as has Kylie.

| Players get injured in rugby league it kind of goes with the territory. It's hardly as if Peacock was walking down the street minding his own business when his knee went or he can't get out of bed for two days after a match. That's the time to retire - not now.
When he returns I expect he'll get injured again at some time in the future and I also suspect he'll eventually decide to hang up his boots but as long as in the meantime he is earning selection I'd like to have him around the team. He's having a fantastic season - when not having to play while carrying a knock.
Was the injury he picked up at Huddersfield on the same knee that got buckled at Bradford in the previous week's match? Shows how important he is to the team that the coach didn't appear able to afford the time for that injury to settle/recover before sending him in to battle again - but perhaps that's a symptom of starting the season with a barely adequate squad and unloading a fit and healthy 1st grade International prop from within it that you used in 32 games out of 37 in 2012 while also not showing faith in the remaining alternatives.

| I'd say Brian is under serious pressure now. Although he can always point his critics to the trophy wins he's masterminded.

Not sure if you're serious?

He should be under no pressure , he can barely put a team on the pitch at the moment . he is still in credit IMO .

| Why would he be under pressure when we are still in a better position than we have been in at this point for the past 2 years.
Fickle fans p*** me off.

| That's debatable.
This time last year Leeds were the current World Club Champions and still involved in the eventual money spinner that is the Challenge Cup.
Perhaps McDermott can find a spot in the play-offs where Leeds can avoid facing Huddersfield - currently the best team in Yorkshire - perhaps he's going to need you with a recent record of L, L, L, L, L - and none have been particularly close contests either.

McDermott is just helping out his old teammates Anderson and Fielden (like he has with Lowes and Peacock too) and I'm sure he'll get serious when the games get serious.

| So the Challenge Cup game (the fourth of those five consecutive Losses) wasn't serious?
Making the final used to be the biggest single payday to club coffers - I'd be surprised if it still isn't so from a commercial standpoint I'd doubt the CEO brushed it off as easily as some fans seem able to.

He's very generous is Brian. The GF is a big prize, no doubt about that, but still something of a consolation to the big prize.

| Any criticism of Brian tonight would be harsh. Leeds wasn't bad, Rovers just wanted it a bit more.
