| Tim Sheens would be a much better fit at Leeds than he ever was at HKR.

| It may depend on who's coming from where, e.g. if Powell was coming to us and there was enough talk about it then Cas might feel the need to announce someone to steady the ship at their end, which would have a knock on effect for us.

| That 2007 game against St's is still the best game I have seen watching Leeds, and we lost!
Two teams at the top of their games, absolute hammer and tongs for 80 brutal minutes with no quarter asked or given.
I just knew knew we'd sweep Wigan the next week (amazing 1st half) and just knew we'd beat St's when we met them in the GF. You could see after the eliminator that they had absolutely nothing left, no more gears to go to and no answer to the absolute masterclass Leeds handed out.

Im thinking more and more its likely to be Powell. Why else would they be waiting this long.. like pete Smith article said the other day if it was Wane or Flanagan theyd surely have been appointed by now so that points towards someone in a job now. Pete smith believes they are looking to appoint british

Don’t be surprised to see this club go for a PR stunt rather than the right move. Probably to appoint a first, or at least an only, knowing what we have become.

Yep. That 2007 game v Saints was equal to State of Origin in my opinion.
I also think that next game v Wigan was the most professional performance I’ve seen from Leeds. I don’t think we put a foot wrong and completely nullified Wigan.
The only thing I’ve seen as close to that since was the last 20 mins in the 2015 Final v Wigan. No-one put a foot wrong. It was a privilege to watch the team work and discipline on show.

Spoke to Powell's wife (Janice) about a month ago. She said he wasn't leaving Cas and if he was Leeds would be the last club on earth for him. Unless he's changed his mind or hasn't told her I don't think he'll be coming.
