| Chuffed to bits with that win. Wigan are not firing on all cylinders after Vegas and as lucky as our trys were, so we're theirs. For a change, looking forward to watching it back

| YosemiteSam:
Excellent performance, forwards were immense, Connor / Croft combo light years ahead of anything we've seen in the recent past.
Still overplaying in patches which invited Wigan back into the game, but close to an 80 minute performance.
Said before the game if we are to lose then make Wigan beat us, rather than hand it to them.
A well deserved win which we need to back up next week.
Final word on the standard of refereeing. I could count on one hand the number of PTB's Wigan were onside, he kept telling them to move but did nothing about it. The ruck speed was dreadful (as usual) - again, all words from Smith and no action.
Agree with that. The pack have taken some stick and rightly so but they’ve stood up big time tonight. There’s still a lot of room for improvement there but it’s much better. Thought Gannon made some great runs. Looks in great shape. Croft best game so far also. Thought he was really sharpe Thought we were good value for the win and should give us a huge boost of confidence

| BA was well pleased in his presser, wasn't he? Anybody who thinks he his marking time at HQ is well off. He might go back to Oz, but not because he doesn't rate the club or the players. Big praise from him for Mik ( clearly a huge fan) Palasia, and Holroyd.

| Better. Much better. Not seen the stats but Oledzski made some cracking metres against a side not noted for shirking the hard work. Croft very good, in first half especially. And good kicking by Jake. Miller could do with calming down a bit and O'connor passing needs to be snappier and more accurate.
Lastly, how good is Lumb under the bomb? I know he made that error but really you could almost put that down to good play by wigan. Nine times out of ten he'd have got away with that play, making a bit of ground in the process

| Yes Riley Lumb was excellent last night. Made the most carries out of yardage as well.
Starting middles were outstanding. We have to get Cooper Jenkins tied up on a longer term deal now. NRL will want him back for sure.
I don’t see how Frawley gets back into this team unless for injuries.
Sinfield really added some crispness to our dummy half play. That said JOC got through 50 tackles and really led our defensive line. If he could sharpen up his passing he’d be ideal starting hooker.
Lisone again contributed very little. Good last ditch tackle to stop his breakaway try but he stumbled before anyone even got to him. My eight year old asked after 3 mins of him being on if he has a problem with his breathing…

| Very good performance all round - everyone - Lisone apart - made a contribution.
The forwards were excellent and set a platform. Not sure about the centres really work and Hall it looks a season too far.
Sinfield looks like a different player this year he added some quality when he came on and Lumb will be an international when he bulks up.
The defence was very tight all night and the willingness to chase back was admirable.
On Wigan - Smith is a class player

| Looking at the stats our completion rate was only 66% and Wigan's 90%, despite that we still made 300m more. Half the ptb in the opposition 20 too.
Cut down the errors and the foundation is there.
Miller, Mik, Gannon and Jenkins have some pretty impressive numbers. Jake Connor involved in all out points, inked in at half now surely.

| A good all round team performance, as it needed to be to get the result. No passengers apart from Lisone’s limited input, and some pretty strong performers out there. No mention of Bentley as yet, but I thought he really took the fight to Wigan in that 1st half, defensively and with his carries. I also think Miller is underrated in some aspects of his game, he reads well defensively, gets through a ton of work and is a durable fella. He’s made a big difference bringing the ball back. Lumb had another really good game and the pack more than held their own which is encouraging. We are still struggling with the ball in hand near the opponents line and that’s a worry, so Jake Connor’s kicking from half back is going to be vital until we find a cutting edge. At least we look like we have something to build on and can at least look forward to The Wire game.

| Agree with all the comments. Watched it back this morning. A great performance and a brilliant game to watch.
It's really showing what a quality coach BA is. He's prioritised the line speed, the defence, the intensity and the workrate of the pack - and it's tremendous to watch. Second week in a row we have matched the best two packs in the league. Oledski looks a different player with a better pack around him. Jenkins and Palaasia just look like very good signings. And Bentley always gets some stick, but my god his workrate is incredible. He sets the tone.
Croft had his best game. And it just looks like he will work well with Connor at 7. Especially if the pack stay competitive.
Miller adds a different dimension. Shame he's not quicker, but he's very elusive. We just have to accept the occasional 'sevens' style brain fart.
I'd like to seem more of Jack getting game time, even if it is a stint at 9. He's definitely got something. And Gannon and Lumb are already giving a glimpse of the future - both will be regulars.
If we can go and back it up with a performance at Wire next week we have much to be optimistic about.
Oh and btw - it was brilliant watching Mik give Wilkin stick in the interview after the game. Superb!

| How many minutes did Lisone play ? I see O`Connor made 50 tackles. Does anyone know how many Bentley and McDonnell made?
