Didn't realise he did this role at Hull?

| Jamie Peacock leaves Hull KR. Could we see him return in some capacity?

| I’m sure he would come back, but the question is to which position? Would he want something more senior than we could offer?
Fancy pulling your boots on JP...

To be fair he could probably still do a job in our pack it’s that weak...but I suspect a job at the RFL perhaps?.

| Sinfield has now left - or is leaving - his RFL role so Peacock could well take that on.

He was only working part time - perhaps one day a week so what was the point?

He only spent last season at St George in a position that would not find him out for at least a season. Had he been any good at it they would have not let him go. His CV may feature several clubs but nothing that indicates he has what it takes

But this will be within financial parameters set by GH and the board. My guess is that Furner is having a big say in the recruitment decisions

| I think Furner and most coaches would want a big say in recruitment .I have a feeling all this activity is leading up to Kevin Sinfield officially taking over from Hetherington

| What all this indicates is a huge investment in the playing side on and off the pitch. I've always felt Hetherington and Caddick have been happy to spend when required but McDermott was happy with a relatively small coaching staff. Add on Sinfield's salary, what looks like two marquee players and potentially transfer fees if needed the club is really starting to flex its financial muscle.

I totally agree.
But don't expect it to happen quickly. Sinny has a lot to learn and hetherington has a lot to share.

Who do you think is running the club - the rugby is a part but the club also has a significant administration function - tickets, corporate, marketing, game day, future capital investment, retail, hotel etc. Who is going to oversee that

Well half of those I would think would be overseen by the person that does it now, and has for quite a while. Not Hetherington.
