| Quote: tvoc "The two schemes for Wakey and Cas are junction 30 and 32.
There's an obvious (if rather simplistic) solution to the ground share impass.
I wonder if anyone from the five towns can spot it.
If Cas won't share, the RFL should demand that they adopt an all-pink kit.

We wouldn't look good in pink.

IIRC Cas were open to the idea but Wakey weren't?

That's my reading of it. Both will quite happily ground share but only at their preferred M62 junction.
The only slight difference between them being that Wakefield got their retaliation in first by abandoning the joint feasability study.

Nothing in life is simple.
If it was we'd all build a stadium there.

Another highly successful and positive "fans forum" where the gullible are appeased and leave thinking the future's bright after another "car crash" season of mediocrity.

Nothing you post has any credence whatsoever since you posted this little nugget about Chev Walker, you gloit.
Quote: Adeybull "I like the guy though - seemed to set a very good example after losing his way (with Thug Bailey) a few years ago.
'"
Can you explain how you came to this conclusion when Walker was the main perpetrator in the fracas, receiving 18 months as opposed to Baileys 9?
What other reasons do you have for labelling Bailey a thug but not walker other than your (and other fans) obsession with Bailey?

| My credibility in the eyes of a fekkwit like you or the fekkwit who posted before you means not one jot to me, since no fekkwit can have any credibility of their own.
If you are so stupid that you think I said anywhere in my post who the main perpetrator was then I pity you.
If you are so stupid that you think I said anywhere in my post that the "Thug" referred in any way to the incident (it referred to him holding Fielden while Barry Mac belted him, as it happens - the incident Bulls fans do not forget) then I pity you.
Since the incident, whenever I saw Walker on the park he conducted himself well. Enough for me to comment - on your own bloody fekkwit-ridden forum - how well he seemed to have responded to what happened.
Start reading what people actually said, rather than what you think they said, eh? And be a bit less of a fekkwit. You know you can if you really try.

| For those interested, yet another long press release from Wakey on the superleague website (very lazy as well, it seems they've just copied the words verbatim). Basically its a whole lot more yadayada with nothing at all concrete in it except to have a dig at Cas for not wanting to share Wakey's proposed new ground whilst saying that Wakey have no interest in sharing at Cas' preferred site - i.e. both clubs are being kn*bs.

They seem to be.
Or maybe they realise that the pressure to groundshare is a trojan horse by the RFL to force the two clubs to merge before 2012, so Widnes can be let in for free with no club relegated? And so both realise they are fighting to retain their separate identity?
Just a thought?

| How could the RFL force the two clubs to merge?
Wouldn't both clubs rather take a relegation just to continue as seperate entities.
Huddersfield Bulls?
Nice stadium, wealthy backer, both clubs with around 6,000 fans at present. Perhaps it's time to think the unthinkable.

| Easy: jsut do what they are currently doing, and make it pretty clear one or maybe both of them are for the drop as things stand. They DID say "at least" one club would drop and be promoted.
And as for mergers, the most logical one is you lot with whatever the Tykes are called now, so you can concentrate on Union rather than have to split resources across two codes? Let Cas take your place then.
