There were a bunch of Barrow (who ?) fans in the middle of the Leeds end that thought it might be clever to start winding up the supporters in that end, especially when Saints scored.
Now forgive me if I'm wrong, but I've been to the last 11 cup finals on the bounce and apart from the ones when Leeds are playing, I've been there as a neutral. Whilst I didn't spent the whole 80 minutes sat on my hands, nor did I jump up & down goading those fans around me trying to provoke trouble.
Naturally, these events were less-than-well-received by some of the fans around them and frankly, Barrow fans on a big day out should know better. |
