I think they had to sign-up to the latest raft of WADA guidelines, which includes giving their whereabouts for at least 1 hour each day, regardless of where they are in the world. It's during that time that the testers can turn up unannounced.

According to Radio 5 live report he tested positive after their game against Salford.
If the RFL follow the precedent they set with Ryan Hudson then it will be a 2 year ban. During his ban Hudson had ample time to reflect on his actions and understand the implications of what he had done and has managed to make a positive comeback with Huddersfield and Cas. I hope Hock does likewise.

Saw an article on the BBC 606 pages this morning asking if anyone had heard anything. Thought it was rubbish though.

The club has certainly known for at least a week. The rumours started last Monday night on our board without naming a player, before being quickly taken down.

I always thought he looked like the genial Harry Grout... might explain where he got it from!!!.... and I did notice that he had a tendency to drop the ball as soon as he got a sniff of the white line!!

Although I kind of feel sorry for the lad, he's just been the unlucky one who was caught, there are other players that are frequent users, and you can tell when you see them out on the town.

I fully support wider testing if it's going to catch more of these said players who are wasting their talent.

The B sample will have been taken with the first sample,so if the first is possitive so will the second ,it will be tested at a different Lab thats all,silly lad young hock.

I'd be pretty confident in saying the punishments in both codes fit the WADA guidelines and for this particular drug are a mandatory 2 year ban.
