We've got TS as the Workington one, what about the forward who played for Gateshead? Dean Lance wouldn't have picked him.

Player I have in mind started games in both positions but was more famed for Leeds & GB in another.

Clue: one of the players to emerge as a youngster under Douglas Laughton.

leeds once signed a pub landlord and he played like one, aussie prop called peter smith(??? i think) peter fox's signing was paid off & sent home before xmas. |
