| It’s gained some momentum this Jake Connor rumour but mostly from FC fans. Is he a 7? Or would we put Lui at 7? I heard a while ago that him and Radders had fallen out. To be honest nothing on here is believable I keep hearing it’s definitely Luke Gale but nothing has come of that. Might as well wait for an official announcement if it’s happening.

I also keep hearing Gale is a done deal. I don't see Connor as an half anyway. But seems a bit extravagent for somewhere else.

| Why would want a player that throws his toys out of the pram if he doesn’t get what he wants? Him an Mclleland for the future sounds bright if it happened!
The Gale rumour can’t be far off anyway because Cas are hunting a first class half. Either he is shot or he is going!

| Quote Gotcha="Gotcha"I think you are been harsh on a lot of top coaches, who actually have become that because of the decisions they make, which is usually picking players on form.'"
Coaches tend to play it safe in important games. How many times in cup finals have coaches selected a player not 100% fit instead of going for the younster.Perfect opportunity was to play McClelland when Myler was out.To play him now in such an important when he's been playing at a lower level is a huge risk.Im sure he's improved from the Bulls game but for mine that day he looked a mile off SL standard.

| If Connor wants to go to you guys to play 6, then I would gladly take the money. He is a decent 6, but could be a world class centre. Wayne Bennett sees him as a Centre, yet he won't accept that centre is his position. He was arguing with Taylor on the pitch on Sunday, and we know what happened with Watts, if you take Taylor on, you are out the club!

So you are not actually arguing that he shouldn't be picked? you are simply saying coaches don't do it. That doesn't make it right, and doesn't mean he should not be picked.

Centre or fullback are definitely his position. He hasn't really shown much in the halfs.

Kelly, Connor, Naulago (Stand-Off, Centre, Winger) was fantastic to watch. Connor was dangerous every time he got the ball.
I think he would offer a different dimension to Shaul at Full Back too. We have seen this year, he is not a half
