| ...i've also taken the pish out of Chris Clarkson at a dinner but luckily he was too thick to get it (though JJB did explain it to him).
In my stupid and drunken youth I took the pish out of Ian Scott in the bogs at Mr Craigs (beauty of a joke which I'd be happy to repeat). And the most stupid and drunken thing I did was offer out Chris Burton in Digbys nightclub. Thankfully for me Trevor Clark persuaded him to ignore me and not kill me.

| Quote G1="G1"I wouldn't say it to his face but only because I have more class than that, not because of being intimidated or anything.
I did once take the mickey out of him in the bar at harlequins for wearing his tights after the game.
Why do you think Kirke doesn't take the ball at the opposition?
PS, if you do love me, please keep it to yourself. I assume you're not my type.'"
No,I don't go for keyboard warriors.
I don't know why Kirke doesn't take the ball up,maybe you should ask him.

I know Chris Burton, he is a decent bloke. Lucky for you.
What was it with you at that time did you have some kind of death wish?.

| Quote G1="G1"This year Bailey has carried the ball 50% more than Kirke per match so whilst Bailey still leaves a lot to be desired he does not merit the monker Cowardly Lion that fits Kirke so well.
HTH'"
But this year Kirke makes more metres per carry than Bailey who is so easily tackled in what you would call a "powder puff sort of way. And as I have pointed out Bailey doesn't make that many carries himself yet is on the field for usually many more minutes than Kirke. Does this mean he too merits your moniker of "Cowardly Lion" as he goes to ground so easily when the hunters come near him.

How dare you compare Kirke to the goliath that is Bailey , no place on this board for this nonsense .

| Quote Juan Cornetto="Juan Cornetto"In the Wigan game Kirke went off injured and only had few minutes on the field yet he still managed to almost double the average gain on Bailey with 32 metres in 3 carries.'"
Are all metres gained the same?
I wondered at the time if Kirke's metre stats were correct and as he was only on for a very short stint I bothered to check them. As it happens I think his 3 carries for 32 metres is fairly accurate but not all the metres were hard fought, indeed if I recall correctly more than half of them came courtesy of the kick return from the monster 70 metre drop out by Pat Richards.
Stats can be mis-leading without further analysis even when they are accurate and those posters who like to refer to them will surely appreciate how a small sample such as Kirke's in that game, which included a cheap metre return, can skew the results when averaged.

Young, drunk and full of spunk.
I'm relieved he and Clark took pity on me.

Meters or not Bailey's collision is rarely powder puff unlike the Big Friendly Giant.

Sorry if my candor is upsetting for you but I am sick of Kirke shirking. He's been defended in the past as playing an important role as an oxygen supply for Peacock, a role he seemed content to fill. What's his excuse now?

| My rationale for not renewing Kirke is because of the retention of JP and Leuluai. Quite frankly we can afford to try a few wannabees out as a replacement for Kirke, and it won't matter hugely if it takes a while to find someone. But I wouldn't want to be doing that at the same time as replacing JP and Leuluai - which now seems quite likely. We cannot afford a mistake replacing them. The last thing we need is to be trying to replace three first choice forwards at the same time.

| It has been clear for a while they were carrying a big risk with your top two props at 35 years old. I dont think Peacocks knee will last enough year we need at least two new good props for next year. But I really dont think the Mcdermott has the ability tio say to JP its time to pack it.
