Wigan and Hull fc seem to be making a fair few signings for 2020, so far we have only signed Alex Mellor, this is a bit of a concern. Hopefully GH will unveil some more signings as 2020 season tickets go on sale.

It's obvious that to improve next season we need a halfback with superior skills to myler.

Speed, organisation skills improved kicking game and all round better playing skills that are suited to being the halfback at Leeds.

Myler imo tries hard is brave but is not good enough for us.

Can anyone come up with some realistic names ?

We've done a lot of our business early. Lui, Martin and dont forget Ava was a mid season signing. I think theres a couple more to come though and there needs to be starting at a 7.

I honestly think (if we stay up) you will see Lui and Myler as our halfbacks, the main reason being I don't think there will be any relegation from SL next year to make way for a 14 team SL in 2021 (this should have been done for next year IMO)

Now, this won't be a popular opinion but I would be OK with that if we are not in danger of going down, lets go into next year with what we have got and be in a stronger position to be able to get who we want for the 2021 season rather than rushing one through for next year - maybe Mcllelland will have kicked on as well

Luke Gale if his fitness is good. Sezer maybe another.. other than that I've no idea who's available.

Te Maire Martin and Trent Hodkinson are off contract...

Hodkinson is finished. Martin is just rubbish. Sezer's doing well and if he leaves the raiders will probably stay in the NRL.

Luke Gale won’t be the same again after his injury. We should stay well clear.

Martin has a medical condition that could end his career in the snap of a finger. Would not even consider it

This is what nrl zero tackle has half backs out of contract for next year, personally don't see any top class half back from NRL coming over due to the high wage demand even someone like Sezer would command a fee to Canberra and then won't come over to play on peanuts, and we can't offer marquee money due to Hurrell and Merrin being out marquees ( unless the marquee rule increases to 3 next year).
