It would seem odd. If we sign another proven half you'd expect Myler to leave not a prospect. If we don't then McClelland would be first reserve and expect to play a fair few games. Unless the plan is for Sutcliffe to be reserve, which shouldn't be the case except in the direst emergency.

IIRC isn't Magsy going to be staying on at HKR in a development capacity? Might be a genius plan by GH and SKS...

Good move for all imo. Hes got potential and needs to be playing regularly, let's hope he comes back in 2021 as one of the most promising half backs. I think this means we've an established 7 coming in.

Myler is still under contract for next year, maybe we’ll run with him, Lui plus one other recognised half for next year if we can’t ship him on? McLelland might benefit more playing SL first team rather than reserve grade, especially under a good coaching set up. We must have a good link with HKR with all the staff the clubs have shared.

Honestly it would help us tremendously to have the third marquee spot available next year, to add another bit of real quality.

I know so far his agent has denied it, but it should be kept that way! We shouldn’t even be contemplating this, he has massive potential and it could be another one lost to Hull Kr Rhinos. Give them Myler no worries.
