He makes a good point about Peacock being a very late bloomer. Also, you might want to take not but not everyone who plays for Leeds is the best player in the league and not everyone who plays for other clubs is poop,'"
Had Peacock even made his first grade SL debut for Bradford at 21 or 22 years of age? I'm not sure he had. Think he spent some time on loan at Fev during his younger days and then buggered off to play in a local Wollongong-based RL competition after Matt Elliott told him he wasn't good enough and needed to learn some basics.

| Ok - has no-one considered what could be a massive contributing factor to Amor's decision to stay at Wakey.
How much ££ was on the table from both clubs?

| Kyle Amor is 25 years 4 months old
at 25 years 4 months JP was starting in a Bradford side that in 2001 were champions, and in 2002 had won the WCC, lost the LLS on points difference, and lost the GF by one point. The Bradford team he was part of went on to win the Championship & the Challenge Cup in 2003.
Kyle Amor is playing at a mid-table SL side (at best)
JP was playing in one of the top two sides in SL, and already had a clutch of medals.
JP was the better prop when he was 25, and at 34, he's still the better prop.

Feel free to be ashamed if you like
I never said Amor was gash.........I think he's an average SL prop. I said IMO Wakefield are gash and SL is gash which I stand by.
He's left a club with potential of winning things to head to a club which IMO doesnt have that potential. Simple as that.

I'd much rather have been a Wakfefield season ticket holder for the last two months of the season than a Leeds season ticket holder.
Given what they went through at the start of the year Wakefield have massively over achieved this year, to their credit. Given what is at Leeds disposal they have massively under achieved in the regular season, yet again.

I personally heard Brian McDermott state at a dinner last year that the aim was to be more consistent during the regular rounds than they were last year. On that score, they've failed. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the value of performing when it matters in the playoffs and found last year's championship very satisfying but when you see this group of players achieve the levels they do in October there's no doubt they've been underachieving since Feb.

Then don't.
What is going to incentivise a change in the attitude around Headingley, other than fans voting with their wallets? I had a season ticket every year from 1982 through to 2007. At that time I decided I had other, more important things in my life I wanted to spend my money on, so rugby league took a back seat.
These days I'll pick and choose my games, might get to three or four a year and watch the rest from the comfort of my sofa.
