| I'd have liked to have seen Chase at the club. He'd be incredible if he were to play behind a dominant pack every week (although our pack is what needs work). Can't see GH forking out in excess of £300,000 for him though  That article made me laugh - Stuart Fielden having the world record transfer fee  |

Close Chase down and he gets frustrated and/or disappears. Featherstone worked him out as have a few others this year. He also likes to lead a bit of a wild lifestyle away from Rugby. Leeds would be best staying away from him. You have a quality U20 team. Maybe be best to look their first and give them a go before the season is finished. Leeds are in a rebuilding stage and maybe now is the time to use the youngsters more as some of your more experienced players have done nothing to earn a shirt from the TV games I have seen recently.

Absolutely ... On all accounts.
I think it's pretty obvious GH is not even going to pretend to invest in any WORTHWHILE external signing.. The least the club could do is show more faith and investment in " the kids " by promoting them NOW.
By the season's end the likes of Keinhorst/Chisholm/Ward/Singleton/Hood/Amor/Daniel Smith ( and McShane maybe ) could be / should be regulars. |
