I think eddie and stevo should be hired out to the UN. Because they have a unifying effect in that everyone forgets there own differences and just hates them!!!

In most professional walks of life people don't continue to do the same job at the same level for 20 or more years.
But on TV commentators seem to go on forever or until they commit a major gaffe.
I don't think Barry Mac is the answer he talks too much over the action getting across his last point & he tries too hard to come up with the comic quip.
O'Connor is worse.
I like Carney & John Wells, whether they can work with a professional commentator remains to be seen.
I think there should always be the balance of one ex-player to a tv journalist supplemented by one or two "colour" commentators.

We did a Grand Final in the second half and capitulated. It was never on. We didn't have the mental reserves to do another Cas/Hull/Wigan/you name it comeback! But we have done some rather good comebacks this season. Too many of them for my nerves. |

I think the point is that Eddie's 'never write off the Saints' line is getting a bit tired. It's hardly exclusive to Saints. We've probably produced plenty more comebacks over the last few years. |

Oh, that's just because under Ian Millward we made an art of it. We had to. Our defence was e back then. With making so many comebacks this season, I think it's reminded him of the old days. However, he's not yet clicked on that we're not that team anymore! |
