What a ridiculous situation that turned out to be ,offer the new ball then call them in for bad light!
At least we are still in it and hopefully the new ball will help us get Hussey and Haddin gone pretty quickly tomorrow.

I thought that myself mate, especially after getting out of my nice warm pit at daft o clock to watch some cricket. Immaterial really though as they would have had to come off for rain just after anyway and it wouldn't have been beneficial for the new ball coming back on after the rain had stopped and got wet. Well poised at the moment, but a couple of early wickets are crucial tomorrow/tonight.

220-5. Not bad, I'd take that. Although England cannot afford to let Hussey go on much longer, some early wickets would be awesome.
