| I am too. He was out of this world for us. Some of the rugby under him was astonishing.
Good luck to him.

Probably my fave coach we’ve had, given what we were when he came in. Oh for a 2020 version of Smith.
A real gentleman too, quality bloke.

| Interesting interview with Agar at half time. He's a very intelligent and articulate bloke. According to Agar all the signings mentioned were purely Sinfield's decisions.

Aye. Had plenty to work with though. Not sure he could have got much of a tune out of the group we have had last few seasons

| Agree with others about Tony Smith, best stuff we’ve ever played for mine.
Interesting to see how he goes at Hull KR, they play some decent stuff already, I reckon he’ll get more out of them for rest of the year

If Tony Smith stays at KR next season they will have arguably the best head coach & best head of youth development of the past 1/4 of a century, both ex Leeds #GoldenGeneration
Positive appointments by KR

| I know he has plenty of knockers and says he doesn’t want the job, but after the unbelievable improvement in our defence we should consider Agar.

| I knew it would provoke a response, but I did say “consider”! He’s clearly done something special to improve that defence in the last couple of weeks. Maybe the Watkins decision showed the players they are all on borrowed time, or maybe Agar worked some magic on the training ground. One thing is certain - that defensive improvement was no accident.

| If you look at our points difference we’re tracking well above relegation on that measure.
Agar does need some credit for stepping in like he has. Binding the team after a lot of changes is the right thing to do, and it showed yesterday.
It sounds very much like more players are on their way out; there is hope for next year.
The coach just needs to be the right coach - I know that sounds obvious but if we have to wait for the season end so be it.

| TS would have been my first choice for the new Leeds coach provided he is sufficiently motivated.
