Looks like Salford are going to be forced to sell a couple of players next week. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

We've shown plenty of times recently that releasing unwanted players is not such a problem.
I think the bigger issue is that Arthur does rate Frawley.
Plus there's not much of a fee for a 34 year old.
We should have done it last year tbh.

Salford must be in a right mess.
They sold Dupree, Ackers and Croft for a heck of a lot of money and not long on they are in the mire again.
If they sell another 2 or 3 of their better players they are not going to win many games or attract many fans to watch them play.
Vicious circle which could see them fold.

I`m sure they will have secured some guarantees should Salford go belly up later in to the season.

They are really going to have to come with an investor and a significant one at that. Sticking up a big sign at the side of a motorway isn't going to do it.

Maybe the process of letting them settle in after uprooting and travelling across the world isnt to bombard them immediately with media duties.

Interesting to hear Blease's comments in the YEP about needing one more recruitment cycle to get the squad where we want it to be. Obviously just guessing, but I reckon that would include an upgrade at half back and Lisone if he doesn't improve.

I’d say the next cycle will include a halfback, a prop (maybe 2 depending on how the others go) and. Back rower. All need to be significantly better than those they will displace.
