Quote EmmaMur01="EmmaMur01"Well seeing as it started with your fans throwing missiles, I hope so!
BTW did the Leeds fans start the fighting when the Hull fans were fighting amongst themselves?
Thought not.'"
I don't condone that and that is an incident which should be dealt with. However players should be more professional then to start celebrating in front of opposition fans trying to get a reaction. The fighting between Hull fans if you can call it that was a few Hull fans who picked out the bottle throwers to get them ejected from the ground.
Its not just solely Hull fans or Leeds fans to blame, thats why I get annoyed with a thread title that suggest Hull fans caused all the trouble.
ATEOD the Leeds club should take full responsibility for the outcomes because there stewards failed to deal with problems until they was too late. They failed to keep there players from winding up opposition fans and the lack of police meant these idiots were only ejected from the ground and won't be rightly punished for there actions.
As a Hull fan for over 20 years it gets embarrassing having one or two numptys spoil our name and reputation. However it pains me more as a Rugby League fan when most would rather just blame the opposition fans as opposed to working together to keep these idiots out from attending our beautiful game. Even more so we don't do ourselves favors when we publically advertise the incidents on the internet as opposed to going to the clubs / police with complaints. In reality 10-15 people caused trouble yesterday and they will get headlines as opposed to the other 9000 who walked the streets together and shared the same pubs pre and post match and got on very well.
