When you learn to read you might notice this topic was not raised by a Leeds fan.
Mistakes should be minimised especially on what is thpe show piece game on national TV. With the VR to call on there are no excuses.

Straight out of the "Leeds encyclopedia of excuses for foul play". Even trying to stamp on a fellow players head doesn't raise an eye-brow in Leeds.

Plenty of things which never actually happened fail to raise an eye-brow in Leeds.

You have to understand that this 'Did' happen in his tiny mind. Facts are stated about Lima's dangerous tackle on Delaney, he knows it was dangerous and should have been a Leeds penalty but cant accept it.

Hence inventing a non incident to justify said dangerous tackle.

It's the only comeback this b#ll #nd has.
Mention incidents that actually happened then this pleb replies like Vicky pollard yeh but ....no ....but erm erm.....but what about "insert some bollox he just made up".

Whilst we may have lost the game Leeds had a moral RL victory. We can hold our heads up high far longer than you can hold any trophy aloft.

They won't understand that concept. Whilst their players are out on the pitch attempting to injure players the fans are actively wishing injury upon players.

It's interesting to note that the spear tackle by Lima upon Delaney hasn't resulted in any fans of any club wishing injury upon Mr Lima, despite it being a far more important game than other recent Wigan v Leeds games.

Leeds tried to start 3 brawls on the pitch yesterday, 2 of which were after play had ended for the halves! Moral high ground indeed!

Saints ,Bulls ,and Leeds in there periods of successwere always recognised as good Rugby league teams,without a doubt,but Wigan wether true or false are only being spoken of as bending the rules ,playing not in the spirit of the game [as well as not being in the spirit of the cap].Up to now their legacy is going to be one of rule benders

Ah yes. Let's investigate those 3 "brawls" shall we?

Brawl #1 - end of the first half, caused by an unnecessary flop onto a Leeds player obviously succumbing to the tackle to end the half.

Brawl #2 - last couple of minutes of 2nd half. Leeds kick through, Sam Tomkins catches it and proceeds to take the p[ii[/iss out of Leeds kick chasers and then appears surprised they might be slightly annoyed by his childish antics. Had it been an amateur game Sam Tomkins would still be collecting his teeth.

Brawl #3 - last actions of 2nd half. Following drop out from Tomkins childish behaviour, play continues and at final tackle Wigan player on the floor is unnecessarily aggressive considering it's the final tackle and Wigan cannot be caught. A pathetic and unnecessary act which does nothing but to increase tensions and ultimately leads to threads like those on the VT describing Wigan as winning without dignity.

You have 2 options. You can stop and think for a second and wonder why quite so many rugby league fans dislike Wigan and think that some of them might just have a point with regard to how Wigan play.
Or you can just continue with the blind messianic belief that Wigan are pure, Christ-like warriors of virtue and the only reason anyone dislikes Wigan or Sam Tomkins is because they are good.


Sadly I think you will choose the cultist approach.

are you being serious? You think that was a deliberate attempt to stamp on his head? really? if it was im more impressed with that effort than I would have been when I thought he was trying to stamp on his head whilst upside down.
