A terrible attempt at setting up an alias to try and wind people up.
By the way, those Orange USB wireless internet connections, they won't work in the bathroom so dont take the laptop in there to combine both of your pleasures.

Now that is funny. Why would Shenny want to come to the Champions afterall?

| Let`s face it as long as they beat Leeds they don`t care what happens to them for the rest of the season.
On a serious note Cas did out play us in the second half.

| Not sure about Shenton really. Solid defensively which is a big plus. Watkins has heaps of potential but needs to improve his game in terms of ball retention (he looks likely to lose it in a lot of tackles for some reason), defence and generally in reading the play in attack.
I'd also add that whilst Senior is - and has been - the standout British centre for years, he has some issues with his game as well. He's not alone in SL by any means, but his reading of quality attacking play is - IMO - very poor at times. Basically because he very rarely faces it.

Just needs some decent gloves.

| I don't know. Some players just seem to not do well at holding onto the ball in the tackle whilst others are solid as a rock. Those that are less sure of being able to hold onto the ball also tend to go into tackles a bit 'weaker' as they concentrate on holding onto it. IMO a top class centre needs to be able to hit the defence in full flight when required - as Senior does for example.

Had this discussion with another poster on here recently - how much time is put into teaching kids how to grip the ball correctly? You see a lot of young players in particular in SL carrying the ball into the tackle very loosely, almost in one hand at times.

best centre in the league still and im no Leeds fan. Shenton in my eyes isnt fit to lace his boots, bit overhyped in my view.

Nowhere near enough. There is nowhere near enough time spent teaching kids the skills of the game (passing & handling especially) anyway, nevermind the grip of the ball. Half the time kids are using a ball that is too big for them anyway and its just far easier for coaches to teach kids to pass it to the big kid instead of teaching them passing and handling week-in week-out.

I'd agree he is a bit overhyped but thats not really his fault. Any English centre who is solid gets hyped up as the next Greg Inglis and has an enormous amount of pressure put on them. The same thing happened to Atkins.

Nobody would be silly enough to compare him to Inglis I think he showed how good he is though when him & Ellis pretty much shut down the left hand side of England's defence, and if given the ball in space not many people will catch him because he is very fast, as Leeds found out at the Jungle the other year, he's a very good centre (certainly better then Atkins anyway).
