my sources tell me that widdop and his partner have just purchased a new home and have also bought a little puppy too!
these are clearly not the traits of a family looking to move overseas imo so i personally don't believe that this was ever a realistic signing for the rhinos....but if mick gledhill says its a done deal then what do i know?

That's why I wouldn't be surprised if Leeds did sign Jonathan Thurston or Cameron Smith |

Nobodies "reliable" sources mentioned Cuthbertson as they were too busy reliably informing them of all the other signings we made for the start of 2015. Which consisted of Cuthbertson and......ermmm.....ermmmm.....
One thing that's always intrigued me about these "reliable" sources.....do the sources know that the "close" friend they're telling this confidential information to just runs off to a laptop and spreads it across the Internet?
Do these "sources" know you go behind their back like that?

Roberts is really poor - below average at a time when the NRL halfback stocks are low. Watched him again Friday night and he was completely anonymous. Widdopp may have had discussions with Leeds but put those rumours down months ago.

I would say that some people are in the know and will have been told "we are interested in" this player or another.
That person then goes into overdrive on here and reckons he has got insider knowledge.
Maybe at the time we were interested but it comes to nothing a bit like the Widdop rumor.
I`m pretty sure GH did make enquirers but it came to nothing.
Hopefully we have another signing or two up the sleeve and we will all be happy.

Don't think we need a half yet. No point until we know one of McGuire or Burrow are leaving. With Sutcliffe to come back from injury and Lilley coming through I think we could wait until the year after. When ever we do need one for let's hope we don't wait so long that it's a panic buy
