I would guess that having played the 2005, 2006 and 2007 seasons, he wouldn't have reached 100 appearances. He'd need just over 33 per season, which I don't reckon many players manage in 3 consecutive seasons.

And 2008. He's eligible. SL stats has him at exactly 100 appearance but there's no Play Offs or Cup in that so he'll be over 100. Wiki has him at 109.
Not sure why he's not in it. Unless he was in the "Number 11" list and they've just split the recognised Second Rowers in half instead of using numbers?

| I'm a little confused as to the inclusion of both Rayne twins as "predominantly playing 12". I know they were twins and easily confused but.....WTF?
[sizeEspecially as Keith rapidly moved to 8 and I remember Kev with the 11 shirt.[/size

Likewise, Ellis in the "11" lot, when he wore 20 (2005) and 12 for his other three seasons at the club.

| I understand the system of selecting the greatest ever Leeds team is not entirely down to this fans vote and its down to Harry Jepson and a panel having final say.Hving looked at this online vote fans have voted for players of this era of the last 10-12 years etc..I go back a bit further and I missed Arthur Clues ,however based on what I heard over the years and read and the esteem he is still held I voted for Clues. There are lots of players down that list who didnt get a vote who were excellent number 12s i.e Bernard Poole ETC.I am looking forward to the final selection

| You've got to feel a bit sorry for Jamie Jones who probably would've stood a decent chance based on his consistency and dedication alone, and yet is put in a category with Ellis who never even wore 11 at Leeds. Ouch.

| Had I seen him play I am sure I would have gone for Arthur Clues, but I have stuck to players I watched regulary and so my vote was for Bob Haigh who forme just pipps Graham Eccles

Despite him being an 11 I'd probably agree from those I've seen.
Don't really understand why some Leeds' so called greats don't have full christian names. It's almost as if the list makers have a list of names and positions and not much else to go on.

| A fully fit prime Ali is up there as one of the best players I've ever seen. He's certeinly the forward I have enjoyed watching most of the years.
