| Given the seeming success of younger coaches from the NRL - Brown, MacGuire, Morgan etc - we're likely to see clibs trying to bring in similar next season IMO. TBH if we replace the likes of McNamara, Agar and co with their Australian equivalents with ambition and ability, most sides would only get better.

I've heard the same.
The turn around he has produced for Hull KR is good work. No question.
I know they haven't had the best of results this season.
I just wonder if Morgan, last year, took them as far as anyone could. A change may freshen things up there.
I think he would relish the opportunity to join a 'top' team and would enjoy working on the 'next level' of talent etc.

| I heard the other night that Nathan Brown may well be leaving Huddersfield but don't be suprised to see him still in Super League next season.
Would doubt it myself, but I was told not to believe the balony about home sickness.
Was also told that Bluey's signed a new 1 year rolling contract at Leeds. Again, I don't know if this is true or not.

| Morgan would have got a top job if one was available last winter. Hull KRs rapid decline this season has tainted what he achieved previously though and I can't see a side like Leeds or Saints taking a gamble on him.
Expect an invasion of antipodean coaches yet again. Sadly those young British coaches who have been given opportunities at SL have, in the main, failed to cover themselves in glory.

I agree & it is a cause for concern. Why can we not develop better coaches?
However, it seems to happen in most sports over here.
Soccer - Italian coaching the national side & the Premier league Cahampions.
Rugby Union most clubs seem to have Antipodean or S African coaches on their staff.
Cricket likewise.
Rowing only really deveoped when we brought in German to coach the national squads, I think swimming was the same when the brought in an Australian.
Cycling is an exception where success has been produced by British coaches.
All the money going into sports development & coaching doesn't appear to be a resounding success yet.
I wonder why?
