If anyone saw the early morning repeat of show 1 it had some additional content. A SL preview from the launch party was welcome and the other content was padded out slightly.

I can't recall any differences between the two timed offerings normally so that was a bit of a surprise.

Show 2 is going out on the Sunday night so I wonder if they will include pictures from all the round 1 games?

If so then that would be a preferable time slot for the show so I expect it will revert to Sunday lunchtime the following week.

The Sunday afternoon show was only 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes because of the tennis. Bizarrely, it was because the tennis finished 15 minutes early and the BBC decided to fill the spare 15 minutes with a 30 minute programme so 15 minutes of the SLS's slot was lost.

Logic and BBC schedulers obviously don't go hand in hand.

Next weeks is on about half 10 at night then 4 in morning

Coming home from a night on the lash only to see 'arry and his technicolour dream jumper.......

It would make more sense for it to be on at that time every Sunday so what's the betting it won't be.

True but if anything overruns before it wont be on seeing as the SuperBowl is on after, they wont be delaying that for a few crappy highlights I can tell you

What a surprise.... only had highlights from the Wakefield V Les Catalans game from Sunday and nothing bar the result from the other two fixtures and next week it's shunted back to mid afternoon. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

On the other hand Sky's expanded Boots 'N All The Tries made a pleasing debut on the main Sky Channel rather than being tucked away on the anytime button later in the week.

Bill Arthur always does a good job and Terry 'Carnegie' O'Connor is OK most of the time despite his Jedward anecdote.
