| Would you say a similar fee like they paid for Gleeson?. They have a a wealthy backer & have space on the cap with Gleesons departure and maybe some more at the end of the season with maybe Rauhihi, Monaghan and others leaving.

| Quote: El Diablo "As well they may. However I believe both have plenty of time to run on their contracts at Leeds, so to take them both to Wire would require a pretty hefty outlay of cash for transfer fees, even by Warrington standards.'"
Sinfield is contracted to Leeds until the end of 2011, Burrow until the end of 2013.
If either player indicate to Leeds they would like to move I don't see Gary Hetherington ultimately standing in their way and releases would (and probably should in that case) be negotiated.
Sinfield would still represent a bigger loss to Leeds IMO if it were to happen.

Yes

| Every player has a value. I didn't think I'd see Fielden, leave Bradford or Gleeson Saints but it happened.
I wouldn't want either of them to leave but they have an ambitious chairman willing to back them and a quality coach (unlike ours) to attract the right players.

And look how those two careers have developed.
Haven't moved on, if anything they have gone backwards, and in the case of one of them, they have gone completley.

| I said its bollox to someone who's not prone to rumours and not prone to betting but asked if I wanted a bet on it. I still can't see it happening although I could see TS wanting them and Wire approaching Leeds about the availability of the players. At the moment though it is still filed in the Bollox drawer.

Next to the Tansey to the Roosters one?
That'll never happen.

Yep, along with the Vainikolo to Leeds, the Hape to Leeds and the Gleeson to Wigan ones. Sometimes I'm right sometimes I'm wrong.
If someone had said that Leeds would lose at home to Salford this season I would have filed that in the same drawer.
BTW, (and slightly off topic) now that Kirke looks like he's out for a good while I agree that a prop/second row is now a priority for the club.
