Not really as we wanted him now and it was going to cost us a reported transfer fee of £400k plus his wages on top and with the NRL clause he wanted, if we had granted him that, we might only have had him for 8 games and 1 season before he went back to the NRL which is the same dilemma Wigan will face, albeit without the upfront £400k transfer fee so not the same risk we were considering

Have to say Lolohea played a belter yesterday and looks to have trimmed down, all seems to pointing in one direction here that the Club/Management is the problem.

Good for him. He's still a duffer, but if he gets fit he's at least giving himself a chance. Maybe getting dumped has set him on the right track?

Being dumped by the tigers didn't do it for lolohea, maybe because a SL side was daft enough to give him a lifeline.... If he blows it here his pro career is over, so it really is the last chance saloon for him at Salford.

Not to mention he's playing alongside the best halfback in SL, and not being asked to lead the team around, which he's patently not up to. I'm sure Myler and Sutcliffe would look OK next to Hastings.
