Can’t lose really - if Martin stays, great he is a solid enough player. Has some pace abs kicks really well.
However we are really strong in that back row and if he were to go it would free up another quota spot and a good chunk of salary. We really could go in for a first rate prop then.
I suspect he will stay. |

Thats where the "ruthless " side of your coach comes . Martin has no go forward , no pass in the tackle and steady defence - not good enough for an overseas place. Tom B was given a 2 year contract - again , another poor decision. He has had his day.
We will have overseas places available and some money - we just have to find the players with ability who have the " Prior " attitude.

Hurrell's pantomime marching to the club song will transfer nicely from Marching on Together to Saints Go Marching In.
They will also get 1 great attacking game in 5, a woeful positional defender and the most unprofessional attitude to staying fit they will have ever seen.

If we are going to be genuine contender then we'll have to see a marked improvement in many of our second row options.Gannon is only a kid so he needs to be looked after and Walters (for whatever reason) has barely played.Martin has hit a bit of form now but overall hasn't had a great this season and to me mellor is ok but not much better than that.
