Agreed Sutcliffe should be used as cover for centre and back row.

I do believe that agar is genuinely interested in Sutcliffe being permanent centre and Hurrell in the second row

I'm not Hurrell's biggest fan, but moving him into the back row kills his game. If he plays centre at least he is dangerous from 20m out. Ok, he will probably lose the ball, but he also scores most of our tries from these positions.

I believe Sutcliffe deserves a long run at centre. Hurrell will be centre for good while as Newman is injured, and shouldn't be rushed back. Think you'd will be Hurrell's last year anyway...

Also don't think Ava will find an NRL club, so we may see him back for 1 more year. He'll be plating well to try and get that NRL deal, so would be good for us....

Sutcliffe’s easily best position is centre and he plays very well there. Newman will have to fight for his place back in the side or Hurrell will move into the pack, for the best balance off the side this seems the best option. Ps people keep bringing up hall, but Hurrell seems better suited to a move into the pack than Hall, I just see him scuttling defenders running wide off Gale or sucking defenders in as a dummy runner

Handley scores a lot of his tries from Hurrells offloading too.. he’s also such a magnet for opposing players he creates room outwide.. I’d most definitely keep him at centre

Agree. Hurrell, especially at right centre is an opposing centres nightmare. You can bet he is first on the oppositions tip sheet every week. Also worth noting that his handling errors and defence have improved dramatically since moving to the right. Sutcliffe on the other hand, is pedestrian in pace, very limited in footballing ability and not powerful enough to smash his way over. If you really want to move Hurrell to the pack why not give Broadbent a shot?

If Hurrell moves to the pack and is not a big success it should be his last season or he takes a big pay cut on his next contract.

We need a quality replacement. Or we cope with Prior playing more at prop and Cam Smith playing 80 mins at loose (hes capable) until someone comes up mid season.....

Or we start Prior at loose then move him up to prop and bring Smith on at loose.This worked well last season.Smith is wasted at second row.
