We have some favourable fixtures coming up after this sunday. Hull KR Warrington and Toronto all at home with Salford away sandwiched in. You feel he needs 2 wins out of those 4 minimum or he could be in trouble.

Looking at the leeway given to Furner and the 4 game ultimatum given to mac that time, you'd suppose Agar won't get too much grace to stick a few performances together.

if Agar gets the sack within 4-5 games of the season it will look worse on Sinfield and Hetherington than Agar, that's why it won't happen, as it happens I think we'll win more than we lose in the next 5 anyway, people are placing too much on last weeks performance IMO.

The thing is they set a precedence by sacking Furner so soon. And that was a guy they head hunted, waited half a season for and brought half way around the world. Why should someone of Agar's standing in the game be afforded more time?

We will see what happens but the fans aren't daft and can see what has been happening to the club. 2 years of dross now is fair enough if you can see progress but.....

We are one bloody game into the new season and we are talking about Agar getting the sack, that IS daft if not entirely predictable.

This was always going to be the problem with the appointment of Agar. I said repeatedly last year Agar would be named Coach and wouldve been named it months before he was if the powers that be believed he would be accepted by the fans.

Unfortunately he never will be and every loss will see fans calling for his head and blaming him for the defeat.

The truth is the fans are probably right and hes not the right man for the job. He wont be sacked though. Hes trusted by Sir Kev.

Going to make a bit of tension between the club and the fans the longer it goes on though.

Agree with this, he will never be given credit for a win though. I reckon we could finish in the top 4 and he wouldn't get credit, this forum has form for wanting coaches sacking, even when they are winning trophies



I think this forum will be pretty unbearable this year, I'll see how it goes but I may sit it out for a bit.

The team that plays on Sunday is probably worse than the team who played at Saints last season , we have hardly improved the squad in my opinion , if anyone can point me out more than 3 quality players in it then i will be astounded .
