Me too. I think Furner is giving established players a decent chance to prove their worth or see if they fit with his plans; i expect big moves in the ins outs again through the summer too and Furner to be able to bring in the players he wants. |

Furner has some big calls to make this season on some “established” players as well as the ones we already know are on the fringes.
We have another full year and some salary cap space available for 2020 squad. On the positive side, if Furner gets players who can defend, I think he can coach arrack well and we could be in with a shout again reasonably quickly.

Lowes is just a gofer. His main task on Friday evening was to set out the cones for the warm up and bring out the tackling shields. In saying that he still put in more effort than Sutcliffe and Ferris. |

My worst fears about the start of this season when I saw the fixture list have come true. I thought we'd do well to win 2 from first 5 games and I was right. I feared our confidence and the fans confidence would take a hit and nightmares of last season would surface and again that's what's happening.
Big big performance needed against hull but I fear the worst again

We have named Scott Taylor in our 19. No comment from the club yet but we had a reserve fixture on WCC weekend and it would appear that this has counted towards his ban since there was no first team game that week.

Newman is way of super league standard yet i would only use him out of desperation. |
