| Quote The Yellow Giraffe="The Yellow Giraffe"Look at the picture. His middle finger is quite clearly extended into the eye of Hill. That is undeniable.'"
Granted the picture doesn't look great.
But do what I then did and watch the video which will always be a better indicator than a still photo. He catches the eye but not a deliberate attempt IMO. Realistically you could get dozens of pictures post games of dodgy looking things happening in the tackle.

What minute of the game did it happen?

| For mine, the picture looks bad, but it is a fraction of a second frozen. The video, to me tells a totally different story. Contact looks to be made, but only for an instant. No case to answer.

Not with people like you who only believe what their own agenda suits.

54 mins in. I do think it's why Hill drops the ball as in the reply from the other side you can just see him hold his hand to his eye as he is falling.
Think whilst looking note the real time shot of it, it so quick and realise the slow motion makes it looks more. I genuinely think he's reached under Hill's arm to try dislodge the ball and instead ended up in Hill face. Note Hill's head is very very low down at the point of contact, roughly where you could expect the ball to be but McGuire is pulling him downwards from the other side.
For me, he does get contact in the eye, but unintentional and one of those things that happen. Like I said you got to consider the real speed it happened and it's not like he's had a feel around for Hill's face and he does remove his hand quite quickly.

| I've been poked in the eye numerous times playing both rugby and football. I've never been gouged and, looking at the actual video, neither has Chris Hill.
As with the video editors and lipreaders, the amateur photographers should take their skills to the Kennedy assassination forums where their skills will be more appreciated.

| Just left Leigh after crappy Cas Widnes match, free corporate. Was speaking with one of BBC guys, who told me about this. Said it was 55th minute, but apparently eye injury happened earlier in game.

Play in many Challenge Cup Semis during your illustrious career did you? Love how beer-monsters equate their "careers" to real sportsmen. Unfortunate accident but that's what happens in REAL games. I see some of the clowns who made fools of themselves over the Sir Kev incident are back.
Looking forward to a great day out at Wembley with our Cas cousins!

Haha when have I tried to equate my career to anything?
I made reference to having played the game because I understand tackling technique and the same technique is coached from amateur level to Super League. So it's completely irrelevant that this happened in a Challenge cup semi.
