| In regards to the Senior quote, that quote is in the context of a tweet he made earlier in the day when he said "Looks like its finally the end of an era, it's been a pleasure, a honour but most of all enjoyable."

| Really happy with the squad. Feel sorry for Delaney - losing his number and being given 15, which seems to be the cursed number.

No such thing as a cursed shirt. Lost his back starting shirt which is the correct decision and one of the sub shirts which seems right to me.
Smith also higher up than I suspected he might be.
But when all is said and done, they are only numbers.

| I only hope Delaney makes a speedy recovery from this devastating news. Really looked the part in the second row last season.

Nick Scruton? Would he have got one for 2007?

| I haven't included any known or assumed squad winners rings and listed only the multiple winners from actual Grand Final appearances.
On that basis Scruton has the one winners ring (2008) picked up in his final Leeds appearance.

| Quote totalloiner="totalloiner"i'm not sure it's sour grapes he is just saying it's the end of an era not to see the name senior on the number 4 shirt perhaps?'"
That was my take on it as well.
His original tweet COULD have been read as Senior announcing his retirement and plenty sent him tweets to that effect.
He then responded later about the end of an era with the number 4 shirt that (to me) put in context his original tweet that I think was mischievous in trying to imply his retirement when in fact he was having a joke about not hasving the number 4 shirt and it being the end of an era.

| Random musings....
Good to see confidence being given to young players - Hardaker and Watkins in the backs and McShane in the forwards. I have no problem with McShane being given first dig at starting hooker, or the fact he's not Buderus. Hood is realistically third choice if Burrow remains the bench impact player.
We look a bit short of real firepower in the backrow, and have a lot of unproven/possibly average forwards on the books. If Ambler's number is indicative of his place in the pecking order I'd be surprised if he stays. Clarkson's number looks a bit low?
Lee Smith in 14 shows that he's first replacement back if anyone gets injured/loses form. Looks like he's going to fight for a place. Just out of interest I put the 2007 season review DVD on last night and he was pretty quick back then. If he can regain that speed he'll be a huge asset.
