| Quote: Keith Swiftcorn "Nope.
Morley and Ellis have rarely stood out in a GB or England shirt against the Aussies and Kiwis.
But keep trying.
Sam Burgess has the potential but he's still work in progress.'"
I'm sure you'll be pedantic about the parameters of your own particular definition of "world class"; and, of course, you have specified you are talking about international games, which serves to support your argument due to the gulf in class between GB and Australian teams in recent years - one might argue that Wally Lewis would fail to stand out in a team that was being beaten so easily as GB have been by Australia over the last decade.
But I would imagine many of our antipodean friends involved in the game would happily refer to Adrian Morley and Gareth Ellis as being "world class" given their impact and achievements in the NRL.

| Quote: Damo-Leeds "The only thing that has made this era look very ordinary indeed is the salary cap. However don’t let that blind you to the fact that Super League has played host to some very extraordinary players. Don’t ever think for one minute that the likes of Kieran Cunningham, Sean Long, Danny McGuire, Kevin Sinfield and others only looked good on the field because they played alongside what you call mediocre. These four players in their prompt would fit right into your beloved NRL.'"
A fully fit Cunningham may have been good enough, but we'll never know. He was fairly ordinary in a GB shirt against the Aussies and Kiwis though. As for the other three, stop being silly. Save the bizarre slapstick routine for where it's more appropriate

Perhaps they are unsure if he has made the required number of appearances to be considered. Well he has - 108.
Watch the floodgates open now.
Quote: Wheels "100 appearances ?'"
Of those:
Andrew Ettingshausen - 41
Marcus Bai - 63
Cliff Lyons - 53
Marc Glanville - 52
The rest are OK.

| Quote: Keith Swiftcorn "Leeds may well have been at their most successful in recent years, but it's a celebration of the ordinary overcoming the very ordinary and the absolute rubbish along the way.
My view is that playing standards have nosedived blah blah blah blah................'"
Predictable much?

| very suspicious methods
probably the only guy to have seen all the relevnt players gives you five names,
you get to vote on them
the number of names is reduced (to five names?)
then someone else can decide which of the names left goes on the team sheet

I must admit, no (surprising as Damo seems to share everything about his life on SS and the Sin Bin). Is Tad likely to use one as his avatar?

| Quote: Keith Swiftcorn "Feel free to nominate Donald and Diskin then
Have to agree...the era of Shoey, Atkinson, Hynes, Smith, Batten, Clarke et al coincided with an Ashes and a World Cup winning GB side containing many of said players.
For me the greatest Leeds side of all time (based solely on players I have seen on a regular basis - so excluding some outstanding players from pre 1967) goes...
1 - Holmes
2 - Smith
3- Hynes
4- Dyl
5 - Atkinson
6- Shoebottom
7- Seabourne
8- Clarke
9- Ward
10- Pitchford
11 - Ramsey
12- Haigh
13 - Batten
14. - Harris
15 - Sinfield
16 - Peacock
17 - Hanley
Bound to have missed someone obvious
