| Quote: Maverick Rhino "What wound the RFL up most over that incident?
I think you'll find it was Castlefords inadequate response, hence Hull FC being quick out of the blocks today, not that I expect anything to come of their investigation, Chav corner has had them stumped for 7 years.'"
I've asked Leeds fans before - come up with a practical solution to chav corner and I'm sure we will take it - got one?
Should we give them a badge when they enter the ground?
Words are cheap.

during the cup game a video camera was trained on the corner yet no action was taken.

Really, should we move families out of the West and South stand and force them to sit in the East Stand? A place they obviously don't want to sit.
The actual only practical solution that I have ever heard is to simply shut that part of the stand, thus moving the problem further away.
By the way.... would you mind shutting the South Stand down for me next time I visit Headingley? Because there are sections of that are as bad as our Chav Corner.

Let me see ... this is tough ... don't know whats been done ...
I know, close the section of seats closest to the away stand, make the section next to it Season Ticket holders in allocated seats so everyone in that section would be more responsible than the walk-up chavs, and if they weren't at least they would be easily identifiable and therefore easily banned...
In fact, why am I bothering, there is a blueprint here >>> www.therhinos.co.uk/news/14464.php

Already done. Did the large piece of netting escape your notice? How much further away would you like them? Its a stadium, not a county.

Hate to say it, but its been established that many of them are season ticket holders and are there week in week out. So not sure how that would solve the problem. We have one of the best CCTV systems in the league. There easily identifiable.

Actually, apart from upsetting you lot with those 'orrble Rugby songs which are no worst than what the South Stand come out with, they rarely do anything that would consitute a ban. And on the rare occasion that they have, like yesterday they have been ejected and assumedly banned.
The problem is there is no practical solution to "chav corner" other than either closure of the area, which only moves the problem or indiscriminately labelling people.
BTW. Sections of the South Stand upset me. In fact I was assaulted in Headlingley a few years ago by a SSer.. Would you kindly mind closing down part of your stadium for me? Cheers.

| Close that section would be the obvious sloution but then the problem may move elsewhere in the stadium.
Isn't it the case that the club are quite happy for them to congregate there well away from the vast majority of Hull fans who, by and large like most league fans, are basically decent.

Enough said, your contribution is therefore irrelevant, unless you actively support fans entering the field of play and accosting players?

To be fair. Common mistake, which has been made by several people on this thread already is that its not actually Hull FC's decision to make. It's SMC.
Yes, you are right, Hull FC are, by the vast majority decent fans. Glad somebody on here has had the decency to address that.
I can't imagine that the club are happy with some of the stuff that comes out of chav corner, like I'm sure Leeds are not always happy with South Stand (and us with 3d a few years ago) - but short of victimising whole sections of the stadium for the actions of a minority, there is little too do about it imo.

OK, do nothing about it. Leave it as it is.
But I choose not to subject myself to that and I keep my disposable income squarely in my pocket when it comes to Hull away. Until or unless you do decide to do something about it myself, and many other potential visiting fans, will stay away.
That hurts your club. And it's your club as much, if not more, than the moron's in chav corner.
