Hall is 21, in his second full season in the first team, he is going to make mistakes
6 months ago similar questions were being asked of lee smith, and the time and patience we showed with him is coming good
i cant see any problems in his game that arent the problems of youth, he could do with maybe a little more sprint training, i think there is a bit of speed left in him, but when he irons those problems out, personally i think he could go very far

He worked his backside off the whole game though and never hid. He's not known for fumbling so I think we give him a chance here. As for wether he's up to SL standard - I think we may have to have an honest assessment of what SL standard is. He's a good club winger at 21. Seems alright to me. |

Drop him to the reserves for a few games to 'iron out' his problems – after seeing the replay this morning he’s just not quite there, too many rookie mistakes to be playing at SL level for my liking. |

I don’t doubt his work rate at all but just lacks the ‘extra’.
As for SL standard, you make a valid point. Maybe I should have said “Leeds” level. |

sorry if it's been said earlier - i only skim read this thread
As Bluey said, the reason they took so long was purely precautionary. When someone gets knocked out cold they lose the ability to stick an arm out and break their fall so there's theoretically a chance of a spinal injury, and obviously they have no idea until he comes round properly...
