I’m still going with Cuthbertson, Ablett, Ferres, JJB, Golding leaving at the end of the season. Would personally keep Donaldson. Dependent on Lunts games, I wouldn’t be surprised if he stays.

Wouldn’t be surprised if McConnell also gets a squad number next season Cuthbertson going would open up an overseas quota spot, would love us to go all out and get James Maloney (would mean Myler leaving) and George Burgess (Burgess @ 8, Seumanufagai @ 17).

That could be s total of 4 to 6 players to leave which creates enough room for at least 3 quality players to come in and promote our best youth.

Cuthbertson could be a good signing for another club for a couple of years. I like the guy but his form and injury record over the last couple of years hasn’t been great, and you do wonder if we’d be better looking for some new blood. I still think we’re another first grade prop short, despite signing Ava this year. Oledski and Holroyd aren’t ready to bookend a title winning side yet, and Singleton’s been patchy. Crosby - who knows. Peteru has been alright but he lacks aggression for a prop and mobility for a back row.

I’d still be happy to see Myler replaced, he’s gone well over the last few games but I’m just not a fan overall - good bloke though.

Starting to come around to the idea of us getting another winger. We have very little cover for injury to the back three really, Would have loved Kyle Feldt to replace Hall but if we do go for someone, I’d like to see some real pace and ability.

I'd get shut of peteru over cuthbo personally based on cuthbo current form. When fit he brings a lot to the team still. Peteru is a bit meh.

We should take the long view - two or three good games doesn’t undo the poor impact he’s shown previously IMO.

Having said that, if he can maintain this form then he could make a positive contribution in his final contract year.

One thing I have to say; it’s early days but nearly every player is coming out in praise of Agar. I guess you could argue they would say that, but seems genuine.

I believe he signed a two year contract. He’s exempt from quota on that contract anyway.

We should move mountains to get Maloney. He is class bloke, a born winner, can kick a team round the field, ain’t scared to get his hands dirty, a damn good player and would be fan favourite also great in the community. Let’s do this.

Would genuinely be happy to lose Ablett, JJB, Cuthbertson, Lunt, Myler, Ferres, Golding if it meant bringing in Burgess and Maloney.
