Only started his professional career in 2014 though so actually not a bad injury record. He's missed about 23 games out of a possible 137. Should be good for FC

I still think we could do with a quality 7 to replace Myler but there are other options.

It depends how ambitious we are to do something in 2020, or whether we effectively give it up to a rebuilding year while our juniors mature another year. Personally I think the brush sweeping the McDermott era dead wood out should be kept active.

Very possible that he won't make it long term, he's not the complete half. Can frustrate and hasn't really developed the organising game that we were hoping for.

Having said that, you can't argue with the sheer number of try assists that he's been responsible for in a side that for the last few years hasn't really been set up to play attacking rugby. His short kicking game is the best in the competition by some distance, can create chances from nothing, and importantly for a British half playing in the NRL, is a strong defender.

So does Williams being confirmed to Canberra give Leeds a line to Aidan Sezer, potentially..?

If we were to sign Maloney or Sezer, I reckon our halves and back row are locked in.

Add a good prop (if we could offload Cuthbo and one or two other squad players) to partner Ava, and we have Ava, Holroyd, Oledski, the new signing and then one or two other squad players for injury.

Maybe a new winger to replace Handley. 3 signings and we've a truly competitive squad again.
