Leeds Grand Final-winning Old Trafford weather conditions, but it's just them treating another regular season fixture in their usual meaningless half-d manner.

Groundhog day!!
I think the only thing we got right tonight was the warm up!
The Giants fully deserved the win but we didn't half give them enough ball and space to get it.
I'd be surprised if our completion rate is higher than 35% and with most of the errors coming in our half it was only a matter of time before we imploded imo.
Also whilst i'm fully aware of what we've won under this coaching regime they and the 17 they put out tonight got it very wrong and there's too much to list it was that bad so we move onto next week where hopefully we'll turn up ready to play and contend the game.

Good to see the value of a Rhinos season ticket holding it's own again this season.

No, really.

One of those most ridiculous decisions getting wrong was how the hell did Delaney manage to stay on that pitch for 65 minutes? He was finished by the 10th minute of the game, completely unfit and not at 100%.

Decision making is just way out. The continuous obsession with that flat pass becomes embarrassing at times.

But my word as far as the Giants go what a special player Brough is when on form.

As I was leaving the ground tonight the first thought that crossed my mind was "I bet my left nut Jeff comes out of hibernation tonight".

Gotcha-re-Brough he was never really put under pressure apart from the odd defender flying out of the line waving their arms about like they were on fire!!
Agree re-Delaney he could hardly walk for the whole of the 2nd half and i think we passed to Moon 3 times!!
Awful all round tonight and one to quickly forget (hopefully).

Jeff isn't responsible for you wasting your money on another season ticket again. The team and the club don't care about the regular season so why should you?

It wasn't really a question of under pressure. He did what we didn't and used his head. He kicked on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th tackles and mixed it up through the game. He kicked high, he kicked low, he kicked short. Very unpredictable, and his passing was superb also. He made McGuire look a chump tonight.

Not that many of the Leeds team could hold their hands up and say they played to anywhere near there level of the previous two weeks but I have to say Vickery had an absolute mare........ He was at fault for the first three tries through his dropped ball and overall poor positioning and then sloped off at the end. My 84 year old dad would have put on a better performance

Without wishing to sound like Nantwich it is very hard to imagine any quick kid from the academy doing a worse job. Positioning out on attack and defence, no pace, no threat, no confidence.

Handling and positioning can be taught, at least, but the thing that worried me most was Saints' last try last week. Yes, the break was down to a horrible read and missed tackle by McGuire which left the whole right side exposed, but Percival burned Vickery off so easily it looked like he was running in cement, and then, when the cover got over and play slowed as the ball went through Manu and Meli, Vickery had caught up with Meli only to run alongside without making an effort at a tackle for a few yards before getting left behind again. Any winger with pace would have at least made things more difficult at various stages of the move.

How many dropped catches were there, it felt like every set.

Need to get hardaker and jones bishop back as soon as possible. Get Watkins and Ablett back in position.

Still not sure about the hooker and half back situation.
