Nice shirt the best in years. But why oh why do they not make and release a replica shirt anymore. Instead they change the design by adding a collar and make a fans version. Its NOT A Replica ! and its been going on for at least 3 years now. Is there copyright issues ?

1) Fans version in cotton
2) Fans version in polyester
3) Player replica
4) Woman's in cotton

Absolute poppycock. Leeds should always have white shorts IMHO, I think the blue shorts look wrong.

I do like the new strip my only criticism would be there is a little too much amber down the sides but it'll do for me.

I see no place for tradition in modern rugby league kits. They are designed to sell as replicas, and that's what the clubs want to do.

Maybe tradition sells? people want to identify themselves with the club and a massive part of that is the club colours, which are blue with an irregular amber hoop.

Also the club for most of its years has worn white shorts, so to me they look 'right'.

Tradition has very large part to play in modern Rugby League, both in the kits and other aspects of marketing the club.

Sorry, but dissagree. Blue and Amber is the club home colours (not white), what shorts they play in makes no difference. Blue goes better with yellow than white does, and as there is a lot of yellow on that top, that is what I am forming an opinion on.

For me though, they could play in any colour tops they like. I don't go to watch a coloured top. I go to watch an entertaining product.
