McGuire had the worst game I've seen him have in years. He's not finished at that level at all, but he will be lucky to get picked next week.

Tomkins IMO was excellent, you can't blame him for the 1st half as we got murdered everywhere, second half he really took them on, get getting picked up and smashed, kept getting back up and going again. Our MOTM IMO.

McGuire is one of the better players in the world of rugby league FFS. At Club level he’s no doubt the best six in the world as no one in the last three years in his position as co0em close to winning as much as he’s done. International level he’s not done too bad either.

I’m as ed off about yesterdays game as anyone on here and even the fight back after half time didn’t help cushion the defeat. However I do believe that within this squad we’ll win something in the next five years.

I am speaking as an England supporter. Are you not able to do that? That's sad for you. However, I went yesterday as an England supporter and I'm now thinking as an England supporter (with a bit of vicarious pleasure obtained from having a Leeds player vilified this time around instead of a Saints player; too tempting to resist).

McGuire is not good for the England team. Everyone else will do fine so long as they play to their potential (which one or two were not doing even in the second half). But we need to replace McGuire as he was simply terrible.
