Sharky - its not Salford's choice who Hastings goes to. All they could do is ask for a fee to release him now. The clause issue would be between Hastings and the clubs involved.

Not much re JJB and Ferres but the other 5 are all under contract for next year, could see ablett retiring though. The 4 youngsters are only good enough to be bit part players next year, although agree should be trying to bring on.
I think your favourite Evalds may still be under contract as well. Maloney will cost too much for Leeds.

Would it? For example, we could offer Cuthbertson a longer contract as coach to the women’s team on condition it was full time. The others we could tell them that their contracts will not be extended once they expire, and they are free to find other clubs now.
It would push most of them to move.
