Let the opposition go full length of the pitch in one set and hope we can defend our line and then rely on scoring desperation, hollywood tries.

Not prepared to do the dirty work - all this short kick off and ‘imagination’ is simply just a cop out. For a team that can’t defend we spend far too much time in our own 40 and it’s mainly our own doing. It’s weak and soft.

Well what a mess. Mixture of being very unlucky with some quite frankly baffling decisions from the ref and video ref and some out and out dumb rugby in defence and attack.

Pearce try was a double movement all day long. Tetavano try was a flat pass. Smith needs to stop right now with all these short kick offs. It’s inviting pressure. Their second try was down to being too passive in defence, Fusitua position was awful.

That 6 again rule is all wrong. Catalan get a huge advantage by holding us down on the line so they can reset and tackle us behind the goal line. Wants scrapping immediately. We should have had a penalty for holding down not a 6 again where the team that’s committed the foul gets rewarded

Re the Martin blunder, the tackler Davies is a marker stood a good metre to the side of the PTB. Can't the video ref rule it out on those grounds?

Entertaining game but were being too sloppy, on a side note the six again rule is awful, it should be a penalty on the first tackle, Catalans blatantly cheating and we get no advantage- doesn’t excuse us throwing the ball away though
