I'm pretty sure it was. I think I was stood alongside you and a few of the other regulars at the cricket side when the abandonment was finally announced. We all knew it was coming and were just hanging around for ages waiting for the confirmation. I remember quite a lot of fans being cheesed off because there was a rumour the decision had been taken around 6:30 to abandon the game but they delayed announcing it for at least 45 minutes... opportunistic bar takings and all that! |

Nobody seems to fancy Burrow starting at hooker with Mcshane coming from the bench. I'm not sure if Mcshane is an 80 minute man, Mcdermott may suprise us by bringing him on rather than starting with him. |

Burrows explosive form off the bench worked perfectly at the run-in last season.
McShane is a sharp distributor from the base of PTB area, and Burrow adds the obvious impact against tired opposition legs.
Macca to start, Burrow to replace is sure thing.........surely? |
