I think we should move on from the briers incident , what concerns me is the fact we were outplayed for most of the match by a very good wire team.
I still can't believe we are without a recognized hooker, yes I know burrow and sinfield are fulfilling the roles extremely well but I still think it weakens the team.
Having looked at the recording of the wire game twice I can see some glaring defence faults around the play the ball area. This occurred virtually throughout the whole match.
Roll on Friday we have got a chance to put things right , I can only imagine the outcry if we are well beaten on Friday .

I realise that & acknowledge the inconsistency but I didn't hear Bailey, in his erudite interview with Barrie Mac on Sky last week, complaining about being let off lighter than Wardle from Hudds.

Makes no odds if we sign a hooker. McDermott will need to find a way to squeeze McGuire, Sinfield, Burrow and Sutcliffe into the team so said hooker may not actually get selected.

And if he does, too many chiefs, not enough indians.

Id agree one would have to move on very soon as ward and sutcliffe are ready now and for the good of the team longer term it needs to be done.Burrow looks like he offers far more to us with his virsitlity alone so would certainly be the one of the two i would look to keep.it would be with a heavy heart but i would move Mcguire on.

For me it was either McGuire or Burrow that needed to move out. I felt that would have been Burrow but after McGuire injury I fear it will be him who makes way. On Aiton I was always impressed with him but the Wakey fans don't appear to rate him that much. Would be delighted to get Kirmond though. I also think McShane should have played this Friday.
