They’ve decided to kill that rule change because all that would have happened is that each kick off would result in a 7 tackle set. No change to the impact on the first tackle.

If were going to use him as a battering ram out of our own 10, lobbing him diabolical hospital passes every other set while letting our forwards lazily avoid carries then we haven't learned the lessons from previous years and deserve all we get.

Happy with this. At worst he’s a bigger Donaldson. There was that one game back end of last year (I want to say against Catalan) where he was excellent and showed there’s potential to be more than that.

Good resign, not huge not small, mobile fit and seems resilient. Only 21 so could be a real solid Super league prop over the next 2-3 years. He can already step straight into first team rugby and should be cementing starting spot over his contract period. Maybe even push in another level or 2.

Yeah pleased by this news. Though for God's sake I hope we do a better job with continuing to develop him than we have with some in the past. There have been times when I've wondered whether we hand them a contract, pat em on the ars£ and tell them they're world beaters and just leave them to get on with it.
