I’ve personally been saying to people I wouldn’t wear colours because in theory it was supposed to be only home fans and it’s up to the steward if they let them in. I won’t be wearing mine but it’s entirely up to everyone else.

Yeah. Although Leeds have retweeted the Cas tweet so makes me wonder if its first come first served on the sale of tickets. Youd have thought Cas would sell 4000 to fans but also, theres no rule on whos in the crowd, so i suppose Cas just want to maximise their revenue. They wouldve stipulated home fans only im sure. |

I don’t think any club would be daft enough to sell more tickets than they’re legally allowed to in the current times, not even a shambolic amateur run club like Castleford.

Sounds like a huge following going over on Friday. Castleford had around 1000 on sale the other day and majority have gone now, that doesn’t include the people that may have bought the double ticket for Leeds & HFC. Impressive.

Perhaps 4k people is more than I expected, but I found the stadium on Sunday to be busier than I expected. The South stand looked much fuller than I thought it would.

I usually park in the ‘free’ (i think its free after 6) public carpark just up the road from the ground, never had an issue with getting a space so with the limited crowd you should be fine

Castlefields pub into google maps. its a 10min walk to ground but you are straight in and out with no issues. |
