Only 150k counts but they have to be paid more than 175k, I am fairly sure that if its a home grown player only 100k would count instead of the 150k, for example Sinfield in his playing days

| The resigning of Hurrell is a complex conundrum according to Leeds Live. I like Hurrell but is he a luxury we now don't need. When he signed we were desperate for a centre but now we have Sutcliffe Newman Broadbent and A Sutcliffe. I doubt very much he'll be offered the same big money deal he's on. I am also sure they will be plenty of interest from other clubs as he his box office. It will be interesting to see what Agar and Sinfield decide.

| Yes we have more options but out of those listed only Newman is on a par or better than Hurrell IMO, whilst Im not sure he should be marquee a few other clubs might think the opposite and id be sad to see him go.

A lot could depend on how Newman recovers and how Broadbent plays over the coming weeks. These two could form a centre partnership for years. Offering Hurrell a 2 or 3 year deal could scupper those plans.

Jack Boradbent is only 19 and played how many first team games? he looks a real talent but suggesting he's suddenly first choice centre is a bit premature IMO, but I do agree that Him and Newman could be a long term centre partnership for us, Im not sure having no competition for places helps anyone.

I hear you but if Hurrell signs a 2/3 year contract on big money he'll play each week when fit, that leaves Sutcliffe Newman and Broadbent and possibly Hall after the other spot. Competition tion is good but you can have too many players for not enough positions.

| I thought that next year was the year we made a genuine attempt at winning one of the big two trophies. Not sure we'd do that with the age and experience of a lot of our centre options without hurrell.

| Providing he keeps fit (which is a cause for concern) I think we should keep him. He's our only three quarter who has a legitimate claim to being near to world class. I really like both Newman & Broadbent but neither are close to Hurrell at the moment. In two years they might be, so two more years for Konnie for me. Not to bothered about the Marquee question. The club will pay him what they think he is worth.

| Assuming he's in reasonable shape it's a no brainer for me. He offers an x factor that we dont get from anyone else in the entire squad. It obviously depends on the money/length of contract he wants.

| I can see both pros and cons too keeping Hurrell he's a fantastic bloke to have in your team and can produce some magic if needed. However if we used Hurrell's quota spot and marquee to get someone like Taupau or another Big Overseas forward the blow of losing him would be softened massively.

| Personally I don't think it's a case of losing a Hurrell to get a Taupau. Plenty of players out of contract and Prior likely to leave anyway. The trick is to bring in another top class player without losing one. That's the only way to move forward.
