To my mind hes not going to work through any rawness without competitive minutes, I'd rather he started to do that in rnd1 v wakey than later down the track
. Will see with interest what the decision makers do and how it unfolds for King.

| We are still a prop short for me. We will see if Eastmond fills the 6 spot.
Personally I might play King because he has punch, which we lack. Might be a couple of errors in there but we need to pose more problems to opposition.
As the season goes on, if he stays fit, I would expect Holroyd to make a bench spot his own.
Just think this is a fascinating season for us in terms of player development. Lots of senior players coming out of contract too.

| If Tetevano and Holroyd are good to go i cant see King V being anywhere near the 17 to be honest. Thompson and Donaldson will get in before him in my opinion.

| Whether Agar goes with 1 prop on the bench and prior at 13 moving up or 2 bench props it won’t take much for king to be needed as the numbers just aren’t there.

| Thompson should be in the 17, but I’d definitely have King in before Donaldson.
He’s a willing runner and puts in a shift, but NEVER breaks a tackle.
Decent squad player, but very mediocre.
King showed he can break a tackle, something we’re short of.
Yeh, he’ll lose the ball occasionally, but I’d take that if he creates openings.
Barrie Mac used to lose the ball plenty, but we’d still have him charging in.
What we need to make sure is some one is there backing up the small breaks like Danny Mags.
Well miss Walker in that respect.

Agree 5 props with apparently Thompson to cover front and back row.Holroyd who i rate seems to pick up injuries quite easily.

| Squad rotation will he a massive thing this year, especially in the forwards, most depth in squad we have had for a few years, lacking a bot in out n out props but plenty back rowers who can do a stint in front row. I can see a Tony smith type rotation system week in week out.

| Quote: Seth "It’s a good job there’s clubs with the infrastructure like Leeds, Saints and the like to be able to provide the sufficient resources to allow games to continue. Any small ‘advantage’ (depending on how you look at it) will have been more than earned regardless of financial recompense. And as already mentioned in the grand scheme of things isn’t worth much thought.'"
Think you are missing the point. Nobody with a brain is stating Leeds are getting an 'advantage' on or off the field.
It's far more basic than that. Leeds is one of the two near sell-out games we have. In a time when clubs need to recoup as much as possible, it baffles all logic to me that the SL would sacrifice this one, I just don't get it, save it for later, surely most of the starting fixtures could have been made as derby free as possible and not just for Trinity's benefit, when live RL comes back online we want as many big attendance games as possible so as to re-ignite the sport in the minds of the public. Yet I can almost guarantee that the first SL match on SKY with a crowd will be Salford v Catalan, need I say more.
My issue is not with Leeds, well done for stepping up, my issue but with those who claim to run the game, no joined up thinking unless I'm missing something.
